Reflect the drawing rather than reversing the string
A text-reversal tool changes the order of characters. This image tool instead reflects the drawn letterforms across a vertical axis. The original wording remains unchanged in the input field, while asymmetric shapes and punctuation visibly face the other direction in the artwork. Canvas supports a negative horizontal scale for this kind of reflection. Turn the reflection option off to compare the same words normally.
Choose a phrase that reveals the difference
Begin with a short phrase containing asymmetric letters and a question mark. Compare the reflected and ordinary versions using the same family and size. A symmetrical capital can conceal what changed, so do not judge the result from one letter alone. With script lettering, inspect the complete connected word rather than trying to reverse individual character drawings separately.
Keep the canvas and destination in view
The export is a 1400 × 650 PNG. Text fits into the available area and the selected background remains separate from the reflected lettering. Choose a transparent PNG if the destination already supplies the background, then inspect the image there to confirm the text colour remains visible. If another application also flips the artwork, a second reflection can return it to the ordinary orientation.
Use the right output for the task
Download PNG preserves the reflected visual appearance. Copying the ordinary words from the input will not create reflected glyphs in another application. For reversed character or word order, use the reverse text tool. For a normal image composition with output-size and alignment choices, use the font image generator. None of these operations creates an installable font file.
Your questions, answered.
Is mirrored text the same as reversed text?
Reversing changes the sequence of characters. This tool reflects the actual rendered shapes horizontally, preserving the original wording in the input.
Can I paste the reflected appearance as ordinary text?
No. Download the image to preserve this visual transformation. The input remains ordinary characters, whose rendering depends on the receiving application.
