Choose the output shape before fitting the text
Select a wide 1400 × 650 image, square 1080 × 1080 image or portrait 1080 × 1350 image. Those are exported pixel dimensions, independent of the preview’s displayed width. Enter the final wording before changing the size. The maximum-size control is an upper limit; the tool reduces it when necessary to keep the lines within the available area. The status reports the resulting fitted size.
Use alignment and padding to give words a clear position
Centre alignment suits a compact title, while left alignment can give a short statement a firmer edge. Right alignment may suit a deliberately arranged composition. Keep enough padding for the intended destination, then review the longest line. The tool fits text into the canvas; it does not know where another application will place an avatar, button or crop boundary on top of the image.
Export a transparent or solid PNG
Choose the text colour and either a background colour or transparent PNG. The checkerboard behind a transparent preview is a display aid, not part of the saved image. Canvas PNG export preserves the artwork as pixels. For a transparent image, review it on the real destination background; a dark wordmark that looks clear on the checkerboard may disappear on a dark page. Use the colour tool for solid-colour contrast comparisons.
Keep the typeface source separate from the image
The generator waits for the selected font resource before enabling download. If it cannot load, choose another family or reload rather than exporting an unnoticed fallback. A PNG contains the rendered words, not the font software, editable text layout or a full character set. For later revisions, retain your wording and the named family. The linked font profiles provide source and license context for the available previews.
Stretch artwork without claiming a new font width
Artwork width changes only the horizontal proportions of the rendered text. Choose a percentage from 50% to 200%; return to 100% to compare the original shapes. The tool refits the text within the selected canvas and padding after that choice. A wider image canvas and wider letters are different controls: the dimensions set the exported pixel rectangle, while artwork width changes the lettering inside it.
This is a deliberate graphic transformation, not a designed expanded family, a new width axis or an edited font file. For a stretched cursive study, choose Great Vibes and inspect the complete word before exporting. Keep the original family name and normal-proportion reference with your artwork so a collaborator can distinguish the font from the applied distortion.
Your questions, answered.
Can I download a transparent text image?
Yes. Select Transparent PNG before downloading. The file preserves transparent background pixels; the checkerboard is only a preview aid.
Can it find the font in my uploaded image?
No. This tool renders text you enter using the listed families. Font identification from an existing picture is a different task.
Does the image download include a TTF or OTF file?
No. It is a PNG of the rendered text. Consult the named family’s authorized source for font files and their license.
