Read the creator’s actual construction account
Olly Wood’s Rodondo project describes an Art Deco-influenced design balancing sharp points and curves, drawn in Illustrator and built in FontForge. The April 2013 project post invites experimentation with its lettering and spacing. That is a direct design account; the posting date alone should not be turned into a claim about when every later file was created. Use the project as the original reference rather than borrowing an unrelated game-logo attribution.
Compare straight-to-curve and point-to-point gaps
Set two short original words containing rounded and pointed forms, such as ROUND and POINT. Compare the visible gaps between letters rather than forcing a mechanically equal distance between all outlines. Keep the width of the whole word visible while refining a troublesome pair, because fixing one gap can create an uneven rhythm elsewhere. Next compare an emblem-sized version and a larger heading. Poiret One is an independent Deco-oriented comparison, not Rodondo itself.
Separate a compact emblem from a longer directional title
Try NORTHBOUND as a single line and as a carefully chosen two-line heading. Avoid stretching individual letters to make either version fit; compare line breaks and overall scale first. Keep a route number, date or location in a separate readable line, then inspect the whole arrangement at its intended output size. Michroma provides an independent wide geometric comparison. The homepage decorative text-style generator uses Unicode substitutions, which do not carry Rodondo’s drawn contours or custom spacing into a plain-text message.
Your questions, answered.
Does the creator identify the tools used for Rodondo?
Yes. The project describes drawing in Illustrator and building the font in FontForge.
Does this guide establish Rodondo as the original font of a particular game?
No. It concerns the creator’s family and original display exercises. A game-specific attribution would require its own production source.
