The official design guide separates font and logo resources
The original design guide on the official Rocky Horror fan site distinguishes a restricted logo-symbol font from the less exact Double Feature alphabet. It also warns against a separate experimental font labeled Rocky Horror Picture Show. Do not treat those names as interchangeable versions.
The official Double Feature resource documents its 2011 version 2 redraw with varied uppercase/lowercase shapes and a basic Latin set. For the creator’s later version history, use the existing Double Feature guide. A historical fan-site edition and a later creator release need not be identical files.
Arrange the dripping title and supporting details separately
The official design guide specifies the classic red as #C80A0A and discusses deliberate overlap of descending drips between logo lines. It also notes the presence of the word The in the complete title. These are composition instructions for the familiar artwork, not effects automatically supplied by a font.
For your own screening announcement, establish the title area first, then give the date, venue and ticket information their own clear space. If a drip overlaps another line, inspect the actual letter pair rather than reducing all line spacing indiscriminately. Keep functional event information in a simpler face so it can be read quickly.
Choose the right resource for a poster or a caption
For an authorized use requiring the precise logo, follow the official guide’s access route for the artwork rather than rebuilding it from approximate letters. For an original horror heading, compare the creator’s actual font edition and choose varied letter shapes deliberately. Creepster and Eater are independent genre comparisons, not official logo assets.
For an unrelated copyable caption, the homepage dramatic text style generator uses Unicode substitutions. It cannot carry the title’s drip shapes, red color or line overlap into an ordinary text field. The dripping image tool is a separate image effect and does not reproduce the Double Feature alphabet.
Your questions, answered.
Is Double Feature the same thing as the exact Rocky Horror logo?
No. The official design guide describes Double Feature as the less exact alphabet option and treats the fixed logo-symbol resource separately.
Which Double Feature version does the official fan-site page describe?
It documents version 2.0, updated in February 2011. Consult the creator’s resource for the later release history rather than assuming all files are the same edition.
