Kabel Font

Rudolf Koch’s Kabel was designed for Klingspor in 1927. Marc Schütz later reinterpreted it as Neue Kabel, preserving its distinctive character while developing a more systematic contemporary family. These are related editions, not identical resource names.

The geometric framework retains letter-specific character rather than reducing every form to the same circle-and-line recipe. Compare the original and Neue specimens when an existing layout needs a match. Designed weights and widths must be selected from the edition actually available.
