Intro belongs to Fontfabric’s geometric design history
Fontfabric’s own timeline records the launch of Intro and Nexa in 2012. Its family account credits Svetoslav Simov and describes a foundation in early-twentieth-century geometric sans serifs, with inspiration from DIN, Futura and Avant Garde. The account also identifies humanist details, especially in the italics. This is a documented contemporary family with historical references, rather than an original font from that earlier period.
Bold is one decision within a larger style system
The current publisher page describes seventy-two styles, including italics, obliques, inline versions and alternate characters. That breadth should not be read as seventy-two weights. Intro Rust is a separately named textured collection covered in its own guide. Keep an ordinary Intro heading, an inline treatment and a distressed Rust composition clearly labeled when comparing what a project actually requires.
Choose the headline weight alongside the information hierarchy
For an original campaign graphic, prepare a headline, short explanation and action line. Give the headline enough room before increasing its weight. Compare the explanation at a quieter setting so every line does not compete equally. If introducing an inline style, use it in one deliberate role and preserve a plain version for comparison. A strong title should make the message easier to locate rather than push the practical details into cramped corners.
Retain exact styles when comparing independent families
Montserrat, Manrope and Source Sans 3 are independent specimens, not Intro files. Compare the same title and paragraph in each before deciding on the project’s tone. For actual Intro production, record whether the chosen style is upright, italic, oblique or inline and which alternates are active. Recheck the complete wording after a change so a different line length does not silently undo the hierarchy.
