Identify the original decorative family and swash access
The Gleb Guralnyk publisher account describes vintage decorative lettering for packaging and labels and specifies five additional curly swashes accessed through the Glyphs panel. His own project announcement also identifies the release. A different Candy Shop by imagex lists Candy Shop and Candy Shop Black and restricts its download to personal use without commercial contact. Select the actual creator and resource before transferring any feature or permission claim.
Give an additional swash a specific job
Set the full label title without extra decoration first. Add one of the documented swashes to emphasize an edge or separate the title from a short subtitle. Check its distance from the first and last letters rather than assuming every swash will attach naturally to every word. Keep the decoration separate while making spelling changes. If the label includes a product quantity or variant, establish that information’s position before filling the remaining space with ornament.
Prepare a small-format version without excess ornament
Compare the finished label at the smallest intended reproduction size and remove a decorative element if it crowds the wording. Oleo Script and Corben are independent display comparisons, not Candy Shop previews or matching swash sets. For a short name to paste into a profile, our copy-and-paste Unicode styling page offers character conversion; it does not supply either Candy Shop typeface or the Guralnyk swash glyphs. Follow the original publisher resource when you need the actual font files.
Your questions, answered.
Where are Guralnyk’s five additional swashes?
His publisher description says they are available in the Glyphs panel. Use the actual family in an application that exposes its glyphs.
Is imagex’s Candy Shop the same family?
No. Its separate author resource lists different files and terms. Keep creator identity attached to the chosen font.
