Movie Poster Credits Font Comparisons

Compare real typefaces, then choose the details that fit your words.

A poster credits block is a distinct typography task: many names and roles may need to fit a small part of a composition. Narrow letterforms can help explore the layout, but a font preview does not establish a production’s required billing order or contractual wording. Use the editable specimens to compare your own text, then follow the family links for background, styles and official downloads.

01

What this style means

A poster credits block is a distinct typography task: many names and roles may need to fit a small part of a composition. Narrow letterforms can help explore the layout, but a font preview does not establish a production’s required billing order or contractual wording.

The collection is a starting point for comparing letterforms. It does not promise that a font used for one project, brand or period is identical to any of these families.

02

Compare the families and their references

Six Caps offers an especially narrow display direction. Roboto Condensed and Antonio provide different narrow sans-serif comparisons. These are independently named alternatives, not a claim to supply the exact licensed billing font used by a studio.

Explore the full profiles for Six Caps, Roboto Condensed, Antonio. Each includes its own project description and source license, so you can judge the actual design rather than the category name alone.

03

Try it in a real layout

Set representative long names, role labels and punctuation. Compare several lines at the final poster scale before selecting a width. Avoid distorting text to force a fit, and confirm the required names and hierarchy with the project team.

Use the same wording and approximate size in each specimen. The size and tracking controls help you inspect the design; the PNG is a visual reference rather than a complete page layout.

04

Downloads, copying and next steps

Open a family’s official font page from its specimen when you want the font files. The selected source distributions include open licenses; review the license included with the specific files you obtain, especially if you plan to modify or redistribute them.

Copying ordinary letters does not carry these typefaces to a different app. Use a font-aware design tool or export an image when the appearance matters. For the character-substitution alternative, read Unicode text versus real fonts.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Your questions, answered.

Are these exact Hollywood credits fonts?

No. This page compares independent narrow designs for a similar layout task. A production’s actual font and billing requirements need their own source.

Are these live previews free to use?

Yes. You can edit and compare the specimens here without payment. Use each official source link to download the font and read the included license.

Why do copied words look different in another app?

The previews use actual fonts loaded on this page. Ordinary clipboard text carries the characters, not a requirement for another app to render the same font.
