Voyage Font

Jérémy Schneider designed Voyage with assistance from Liana Korios, with VJ Type recording its release in 2020. The family expanded in 2024 with Light, Medium and Black resources and refinements across the existing weights. Its curving display character is a deliberate design direction rather than a claim that every similarly named font belongs to the same collection.

Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.

The current family has five weights, high contrast, numerous stylistic ligatures and alternate forms. VJ Type highlights details such as the lowercase e and curling h. Compare alternates in complete words and keep the exact weight and edition recorded, especially when reopening a document made before the expansion.

Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.

Try a short editorial title and a smaller supporting phrase. Begin with default forms, then introduce a ligature or alternate where it improves the word’s shape. Inspect the fine hairlines at the finished output size and leave enough space around curved strokes so neighboring lines do not collide.
