Stratos: background and attribution
Yoann Minet designed Stratos, released by Production Type in September 2015. Its geometric grotesque design explores unusual relationships between proportions, case and weight. The publisher relates the condensed capitals to twentieth-century gothic wood type, contrasting them with more circular geometric lowercase forms.

Forms, styles and what to inspect
Stratos uses multiplexed proportions, allowing weight changes without the usual change in text width. Its uppercase and lowercase also create distinct proportions within the system. Compare the actual style and text rather than assuming that every geometric font can reproduce this behavior or preserve the same line breaks.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Try a short heading in mixed case and capitals, then compare several weights using the same text box. Watch both the line endings and the internal shapes as weight changes. Use the contrast between cases deliberately, and inspect the result at the final size before choosing a hierarchy for a responsive layout.
For independent comparisons, try Montserrat and Roboto Condensed. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.
