Use the actual Iconian family inventory
Iconian Fonts’ submitted Raider Crusader resource lists separate straight, semistraight, condensed, expanded, title and decorated files, including chrome, bevel, engraved and 3D variants. The author directs commercial-use questions to its original foundry information. These names describe resources in this specific family; they are not proof that the same effect can be toggled inside every file. Keep the selected filename with the editable layout rather than recording only the broad family name.
Choose width before choosing an embellished version
For an original tournament title, create one unmodified proof in the base resource, then compare the supplied condensed and expanded resources in equal-width frames. Use the actual longest name rather than only a short sample word. Decide whether the title needs another line before horizontally stretching its letters. Once a width and composition are selected, compare a decorated variant in a separate frame. This keeps the fitting decision distinct from the extra edge or surface treatment. Oxanium and Russo One are independent display comparisons, not Raider Crusader files.
Compare a built-in treatment with any extra software effect
Keep a plain copy beside the version using a chrome, bevel or outline-labelled file. Before adding another stroke, shadow or texture in the application, inspect which small gaps are already occupied by the supplied drawing. Compare at the final thumbnail or title-card size so fine internal details do not disappear unnoticed. Use a separate quiet line for a date, score or instruction instead of forcing it into the same embellished treatment. Our homepage copyable bold text choices change Unicode characters; they do not install this family or preserve its outlined and dimensional drawings in another application.
Your questions, answered.
Are the width and effect variants separate fonts?
The original resource lists separate files. Select the actual supplied file for a proof rather than assuming every named treatment is an in-app switch in the base style.
Should I add another outline to a decorated variant?
Compare the plain and decorated outputs at the final size first. Extra outlines can close spaces or overwhelm details already present in the supplied drawing.
