Dalton Maag worked with Netflix’s marketing and product teams on Netflix Sans to coordinate typography across different uses. The studio records the custom-family project across 2017–2023; that project range is not used here as a single creation date for every resource.

Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.

The studio identifies the family as exclusive to Netflix and distinguishes several writing systems in the project. The project is evidence about Netflix Sans, not proof that every title card, subtitle choice or logo image uses exactly the same font.

Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
