Place Mark Pro within the FF Mark family
FontFont’s publisher account identifies FF Mark as created in 2013 by Hannes von Döhren, Christoph Koeberlin and the FontFont Type Department. Its catalog lists individual styles using FF Mark Pro names, alongside Narrow and Condensed branches. Mark Pro in this context is therefore part of an identified family and edition system, not a generic name for every font called Mark. Retain the FF prefix and full style name when recording a source or requesting a resource.
Compare numeral features in the exact edition
The publisher documents lining and oldstyle figures in proportional and tabular widths, alongside features including fractions, ligatures and alternate characters. It separately describes W1G resources with expanded pan-European script coverage. A feature list for the family does not prove that any similarly named file on another computer is the same edition. Inspect the chosen resource’s glyphs and application feature controls before relying on a particular figure style or character.
Build a compact brand-and-data test
Prepare an original organization heading, a short paragraph and a table of prices or dates. Keep the wording and container width fixed while comparing regular and narrower designs through the publisher’s specimen. For numeric columns, select an available tabular figure option rather than inserting spaces until the values appear aligned. For a paragraph containing dates, compare numeral texture with the surrounding lowercase. Review italic emphasis and punctuation as part of the same document instead of choosing only from an isolated logo-like word.
Document the exact resource and independent comparisons
Inter and Montserrat below are independent sans-serif comparison families. They are not FF Mark Pro files or promised metric replacements. Use them for a separate hierarchy study, then review FF Mark’s actual licensed styles at the publisher source. Record the chosen family branch, style, edition and required features in the project handoff. A web page, desktop layout and embedded application can require different font resources and terms; the appearance of a specimen here does not supply FF Mark software.
Your questions, answered.
Is Mark Pro the complete name of the family?
Record the FF Mark family, branch and full style name to identify the intended resource.
Does selecting tabular figures make the entire font monospaced?
No. Tabular figure widths concern the numerals. They do not establish equal widths for all letters or other characters.
