Use the foundry’s documented broadcast scope
[Black[Foundry]’s original Grtsk for M6 account](https://black-foundry.com/showcase/grtsk-for-m6/) credits Gédéon’s use of Grtsk Exa for the broadcaster’s show titles and announcements. It names Thin, Regular and Bold as the selected weights. This establishes a concrete text-system use; it does not identify the M6 logo outlines, every past channel package or every file named M6. When comparing a reference, record the program, screen role and visible wording. A download title without a maker or project connection cannot by itself establish that it is the documented broadcast resource.
Assign weight to the information that changes
For an original announcement card, make separate fields for program title, schedule and a short supporting message. Keep one stable version as the reference. Change just the title weight, then just the schedule weight, and compare which item attracts attention first. Do not make all three fields equally heavy merely because the card is promotional. Include a long program name and a short one in the same proof; decide where wrapping is allowed before spacing each card individually. Montserrat and Manrope are independent comparison families, not Grtsk Exa or approved replacements for an existing channel package.
Inspect the transition as well as the static card
Build a simple sequence that moves from a title-only opening to the full information card. Compare the lightest wording over the actual moving background and inspect the moment when the schedule first appears. If a line becomes hard to distinguish, change its size, weight or background separation rather than adding an outline to every letter. Keep the stable title frame in the editable template so multiple announcements share the same alignment. The homepage copyable text-style generator creates Unicode character variations; it does not install the foundry family, reproduce its weights or identify a logo from an image.
Your questions, answered.
Does this identify the font in the M6 logo?
No. The source documents surrounding broadcast titles and announcements. Matching the channel logo itself requires evidence for that separate artwork.
Can I use any file called M6 as the documented broadcast typeface?
A shared download name is not enough. Keep the original maker, exact family and project context together, then compare the actual reference before choosing a resource.
