Lucidity: background and attribution
Lucidity is Ricky Rinaldi’s decorative family for Aiyari Studio. The creator lists a 2018 creation date and describes a contemporary interpretation of psychedelic lettering. Aiyari’s own marketplace package identifies Lucidity Condensed within the wider family, alongside Psych, Psych Outline, Expand and two Extras fonts. This distinguishes the condensed keyword from unrelated fonts that happen to share the Lucidity name, including a separate ballpoint-style script by another designer.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
The creator emphasizes OpenType stylistic alternates and ligatures, presenting Lucidity for headings, album covers, branding, posters and packaging. The six-font package combines lettering variants with extra decorative material; it is not six conventional text weights. Choose the named Condensed style for that specific proportion, and inspect its available character set in the creator’s specimen. An outline or extras font has a different role from the primary lettering in the same design.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Create an album-cover study with a short title, artist name and one small credit line. Compare the condensed title against a wider composition before adding decorative extras. Use only a few alternate forms so the word remains recognizable, and keep the credit line in a straightforward supporting font. View the design at cover-thumbnail size before deciding whether another flourish improves the title or simply occupies valuable space.
For independent comparisons, try Righteous and Shrikhand. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.
