Lovelo: background and attribution
Hans Renzler created Lovelo through Renzler Design in Vienna, with Fontfabric distributing the family. The publisher records a January 2013 release. The design is positioned as a geometric display alphabet, with a solid treatment and two line-based versions.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
Black, Line Bold and Line Light are different treatments rather than a conventional paragraph family with italics. The line versions require attention to stroke visibility and background contrast. Use the publisher’s current included agreement for the offered download rather than inferring unrestricted rights from a free listing.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Compare a short all-cap heading in solid and line forms. Inspect the internal lines after reducing the image to thumbnail size. Avoid assuming an inline treatment remains equally clear against a photograph or a busy texture.
For independent comparisons, try Josefin Sans and Poiret One. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.
Official preview and font resources
Use Fontfabric to try the original and investigate the files, styles and terms for your intended workflow. This site does not distribute or serve Lovelo font software.
The editable alternatives here have their own source profiles and included licenses. For the difference between a font file and copied characters, read Unicode text versus fonts.
