Read the documented digital typography roles
The Toyota Europe DX Playbook’s asset guide, updated October 7, 2026, identifies Nobel for Lexus and a separate LexusDecorativeType display resource. It lists the latter as Light and Regular, limited to A–Z and space, with lowercase mapped to capitals. Other characters fall through to the next family. This is a specific documented digital system, not a claim that every historical badge or campaign uses those same files. See the Nobel family guide for that separate resource.
Plan an alphabetic title and a mixed-content line separately
For an original automotive presentation, create one short alphabetic heading and another containing a model number, punctuation and an accented name. Keep the same frame and intended size. If using an authorized display resource with limited characters, inspect the whole mixed line rather than judging only its attractive capitals. A fallback can introduce visibly different proportions in just one part of a word. Move essential numbers into a supporting text role when that produces a clearer result; do not quietly remove necessary characters to preserve an effect.
Keep wordmark assets distinct from the title proof
The Playbook also supplies brand logos as separate SVG assets. Keep that distinction in your reference notes: a logo is not the same item as an editable heading. For your own project, choose your own name and record the actual family and style used for each role. Jost and League Spartan are independent geometric comparisons, not Nobel, LexusDecorativeType or approved brand replacements. The homepage text generator for copyable styles changes Unicode characters; it does not distribute these brand files or preserve their fallback behaviour in another application. Consult the original project resources for an authorized production workflow.
Your questions, answered.
Is LexusDecorativeType intended for ordinary paragraphs?
The cited Playbook identifies it as a display cut with a restricted alphabet, directing other content to Nobel. A decorative heading resource should not be assumed to supply complete text coverage.
Does the font name identify the Lexus vehicle wordmark?
The documentation separates font resources from logo assets. A particular badge or wordmark needs evidence for that artwork rather than a supporting text-family name.
