Klavika: background and attribution
Eric Olson designed Klavika for Process Type Foundry. The foundry presents it as a series with distinct standard, condensed and display resources. A series overview helps separate the core family’s working styles from specialized branches created for other headline needs.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
The core specifications list Light, Regular, Medium and Bold with italic companions. The current combined package also includes condensed resources and display extremes. Those wider series totals should not be mistaken for the contents of the eight-style core family.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Compare a body introduction and a compact heading before trying a display extreme. Inspect the actual italic and numeral options in the selected branch. Keep the family and branch recorded when transferring the document to another editor.
For independent comparisons, try Inter and Manrope. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.
