Two original pages describe different resource packages
The Handmadefont shop page describes photographed letters supplied as separate transparent PNG files and explicitly says that its listed set is not a keyable TTF or OTF. By contrast, the creator’s 2022 Ketchup portfolio presentation documents an OpenType-SVG color font plus individual PNG characters. Do not combine their different file counts or dimensions into one assumed package. Identify the actual product and format before purchase or handoff; a portfolio presentation alone does not establish which files a particular shop order currently contains.
Compose image letters with a common optical baseline
For a PNG alphabet, begin with a short headline and position each letter on a separate working layer. Align the visible letters rather than the outside edges of their transparent image rectangles. Compare the gaps between shapes, leaving enough space for small sauce details to remain distinct. Keep an editable assembly and a flattened proof. If the word looks uneven, adjust an individual gap before scaling letters inconsistently or adding a background texture that obscures their photographed surface.
Check the color-font route separately from the image route
For an OpenType-SVG package, establish support in the intended application before planning a long editable caption. Compare the actual exported result with the working document rather than assuming the textured drawing survives every conversion. Keep menu details, prices and instructions in a simpler face. Chewy and Fredoka are independent playful comparisons, not photographed ketchup lettering. The homepage copy-and-paste style generator uses Unicode text; it does not insert these image assets or install a color font. See the SVG font-format guide for the separate format distinction.
The conversation-heart lettering guide also discusses photographed food letters. Compare the documented files and composition method for each package rather than assuming every food alphabet is keyable text.
Your questions, answered.
Can I type with every Ketchup package?
No. The cited shop listing describes manually composed image letters, while the creator’s separate portfolio describes a color-font release. Check the files included with the actual resource.
Should I align PNG letters by their image boxes?
Use their visible baseline and letter shapes as the composition reference. Transparent image margins can make identical box alignment look uneven.
