Identify the six publisher-listed styles
BoxTube Labs credits Tobias Alexandersson with Jawbreak. Its family specimen lists Sans, Serif and Slab, each with a corresponding Cut style, for six choices. The publisher frames it as a sports-oriented family with classic roots, rather than identifying an exact team logo that every style reproduces. Open the original family specimen and select the actual style before comparing a filename or tracing a sample.
Separate the letter structure from the cut treatment
Start with the same word in Sans, Serif and Slab to compare the underlying construction. Then compare each with its matching Cut version. This creates a useful two-stage decision: which letter structure fits the identity, and whether the interruptions add something at the intended scale. A style name containing Cut does not by itself establish bridges, minimum thickness or suitability for a physical stencil. Check the drawn counters and interruptions in the publisher specimen rather than assuming a fabrication property.
Build an original club-name and number proof
Use NORTHSIDE 24 for an invented sports-club identity. Keep the name and number separate so their spacing can be adjusted independently. Compare a straight single-line lockup with a two-level arrangement, then reduce both to the size of a small sleeve mark. Check whether the Cut details remain intentional or disappear into gaps. Anton and Black Ops One below are independent display comparisons; neither is Jawbreak or an official identity for the fictional club.
Verify the actual edition and production route
The publisher describes Adobe Latin 1 coverage, but a project still needs its own names, punctuation and figures checked in the selected style. Review the original specimen and its terms for the planned output. Retain an editable text version before any outline conversion, alongside the exact family/style record. A font image is a visual reference, not a complete apparel-production file, stencil plan or font-software download.
Your questions, answered.
Does Jawbreak Cut automatically make a fabrication-ready stencil?
No. Inspect the actual letter geometry and the requirements of the physical process separately.
Are Anton and Black Ops One Jawbreak styles?
No. They are separately named comparisons. Jawbreak’s original six styles are shown through its publisher specimen.
