Word: use Font Color on the selected words
Microsoft’s Word colour instructions start by selecting the text. On the Home tab, open the arrow beside Font Color in the Font group and choose a colour. For a shade outside the displayed palette, use More Colors and the available Standard or Custom choices.
Keep colour changes focused on the intended heading or phrase. If a whole paragraph changes unexpectedly, undo that change and select the exact words again. A typeface such as Inter or Lora does not need a different font file simply to appear in a different colour.
Supporting Mac apps: use Text Color in the Fonts window
Apple’s Mac Fonts-window guide explains how supporting apps expose the window with Command-T or a Format menu route. With the intended text selected, use the Text Color well to choose a colour in the Colours window. The precise controls depend on the application; this is not a universal shortcut for changing a website’s design.
Keep font family, size and colour as deliberate separate choices. For choosing or installing the alphabet itself, follow the computer font guide.
Keep colour meaning separate from copied characters
Try the real heading against its final background before using colour to emphasize it. Keep labels or wording clear enough that readers do not need colour alone to understand the message. A selected phrase in a document is different from a screenshot: preserving editable text lets you revise the wording and appearance later.
The online stylish text generator changes Unicode characters. A plain-text paste does not carry Word’s colour formatting into another app. Use the destination editor’s own colour tools when available; if the field accepts only plain text, a different alphabet style does not grant control over its text colour.
Your questions, answered.
Do I need a different font to change text colour?
For ordinary document text, use the editor’s colour control. Choosing another font changes the letter design, not the selected formatting colour.
Can copy-and-paste stylish text preserve my Word colour?
A plain-text paste carries characters rather than Word’s formatting. The destination application controls whether colour formatting is supported.
