The foundry’s Graphik LCG specimen connects the family with less-common twentieth-century European sans serifs and Swiss Modern poster lettering. It identifies Paul Renner’s Plak as an influence at the heavy end and names Neuzeit Grotesk, Folio, Recta and Maxima among lighter-weight references. These influences explain a design approach; Graphik is not simply one of those historical fonts renamed or packaged as an identical replacement.

The LCG specimen credits Ilya Ruderman for Cyrillic and Panos Haratzopoulos for Greek. Later official specimens document additional script work, including Bangla and Tamil. A family name alone therefore does not tell you which language support a particular purchase contains. Prepare the real names and text for your project, then inspect the selected edition’s repertoire, numerals and italic support before committing to a multilingual layout.
