Open the text theme controls
Open the form and select Customize theme. In the panel’s Text area, choose the style for headers, questions or text, then change the available font and size. Close the panel when finished.
The official help page documents these role-based controls; an arbitrary local font installation is a different workflow.
Separate text from theme artwork
The same theme area includes colors and header-image options. A header image adds artwork; it does not turn its pictured lettering into editable form text.
Keep an essential form title in a usable text field rather than relying on an image alone to convey the wording.
Compare question and answer context
Review the title, a long question and ordinary supporting text together. A highly expressive header can sit above a quieter question style. Check the language and punctuation in the actual form.
These are design checks for choosing among available controls, not a promise that a particular decorative family is in every account’s catalog.
Choose the next font workflow
For a document, use the Google Docs font guide. For general layout decisions, compare the font pairing chart.
The font library explains individual design histories and licenses, while the Forms panel determines which resources you can apply within the form.
Your questions, answered.
Can I style headers and questions separately?
Google documents separate Text controls for headers, questions and text in Customize theme.
Does adding a header image install a font?
No. Image artwork and editable text resources are separate.
