French Script MT Font

Monotype’s 1989 French Script interprets nineteenth-century French scripts with flourished capitals and connected lowercase. Microsoft also notes related earlier foundry releases in that tradition.

The official family entry provides the source account and the listed edition’s information. A broader family name may cover other releases; keep the exact version clear when comparing files or documenting a project.

Try an invitation heading with actual names. Preserve the connection rhythm and check whether the capital flourishes collide when several names appear together.

Use representative wording: include names, punctuation, numbers and any script you need. A family name alone does not establish that a particular installed edition contains every required character or typographic feature.

The editable comparison specimens use Pinyon Script and Luxurious Script. These are independent designs selected for a related role or mood. They are not renamed copies, guaranteed metric replacements or claims of exact similarity to French Script MT.
