Euclid: background and attribution
Euclid is a Swiss Typefaces family designed by Emmanuel Rey, with Cyrillic development credited to Liudmila Bredikhina and engineering to Christoph Koeberlin. Its geometric approach is organized into Flex, Circular A, Circular B, Square and Triangle collections. These are deliberately different voices within one project.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
Compare terminals and punctuation when choosing between the collections. Circular A and B differ in how curves end; Square and Triangle introduce other structural details. The publisher treats these as choices rather than a requirement to mix them all, while noting that Flex can serve as a display companion.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Try the same brand name and short paragraph in the collections you are considering. Judge the complete word silhouette before selecting an isolated favorite letter. Record the exact collection and weight so later artwork does not accidentally switch to another Euclid design.
For independent comparisons, try Montserrat and Josefin Sans. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.
