01

Corporative: background and attribution

Corporative is a Latinotype team project credited to Luciano Vergara, Daniel Hernández and the Latinotype Team. The source describes regular, alternative and condensed resources, with further development by team members. Preserve the exact project and package name when comparing it with separately named Corporative Sans products.

Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.

02

Forms, styles and what to inspect

Compare the alternative alphabet independently from width and weight. A condensed alternate italic can represent several simultaneous choices, so evaluate them in a controlled order. Inspect the actual edition’s characters rather than transferring a broad family description to every resource.

Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.

03

Try it in a real layout

Build a compact brand sheet with a title, supporting paragraph and a short navigation label. Choose the width that fits before adding tracking or scaling. Keep alternate choices consistent across repeated words so a system does not change character accidentally between pages.

For independent comparisons, try Source Sans 3 and Manrope. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.

The editable alternatives here have their own source profiles and included licenses. For the difference between a font file and copied characters, read Unicode text versus fonts.
