01

Identify the Mexican-market display commission

Enigma’s Cheetos case study describes a custom display typeface created with PepsiCo LATAM’s internal Design Center. Its three variants are Normal, Curvy and Mischievous; they can operate individually or together. The project also includes custom emoji, social icons and text balloons. This documents a particular brand system, rather than identifying every historical Cheetos wordmark or every market’s packaging font.

02

Build a sequence before mixing the display styles

PepsiCo’s own project account connects the design to anticipation, enjoyment and reward, and to the snack’s physical shapes. For an independent fictional snack campaign, write three short messages representing before, during and after an experience. Begin with one consistent display treatment, then compare a version whose shapes become more animated through the sequence. Keep the product description steady so the changing headline does not erase its reading role. Fredoka and Luckiest Guy are separate comparisons here, not files from Cheetos’ commission.

03

Keep Other Hand and the custom brand system separate

The official Cheetos homepage links an Other Hand Font resource. That name should not be treated as another label for Enigma’s three-style Mexican-market commission, nor should a resource link be assumed to grant every possible use without reading its accompanying terms. When evaluating a file, record its actual family name and source before calling it the Cheetos logo font. For a quick message instead, the homepage’s copyable text choices use Unicode substitutions; they do not install either original typeface or reproduce the brand’s custom icon set.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Your questions, answered.

What are Normal, Curvy and Mischievous?

They are the three stylistic variants in Enigma and PepsiCo LATAM’s custom Cheetos display project.

Is Other Hand the same font as the Mexican Cheetos display family?

Do not equate them. The official site separately presents the Other Hand resource; the Enigma case study documents the named three-variant display system.
