Break: background and attribution
Rajesh Rajput published the Break typeface project in August 2015. His creator page describes five weights and includes uppercase, lowercase, numerals and symbols. This guide concerns the named family, rather than general typography questions about line breaks or unrelated television-title lettering.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
The creator offers a free version through a pay-what-you-want product page. Inspect the actual resource and supplied terms instead of assuming that an optional payment determines all modification or embedding rights. Five named weights do not establish that the release is a variable font.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Try a short editorial title and a mixed-case subheading. Compare the lightest and boldest resources using the same text and output size. Check punctuation and line endings, keeping the selected weight explicit in the design notes.
For independent comparisons, try Montserrat and Josefin Sans. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.
