01

Identify the letters-on-pins construction

Robert Schenk’s Ingrimayne Type account describes letters placed on bowling pins. Uppercase keys produce white pins with black letters; lowercase keys produce black pins with white letters. The account identifies InsideLetters as the source of the lettering on the pins. This is a specific decorative font, not an automatic font choice for every bowling business.

02

Build the two-color proof from matched text layers

The creator explains that colored lowercase forms can sit behind uppercase forms. Start with LEAGUE NIGHT in one layer and its lowercase counterpart in another, retaining a plain-text record of the intended wording. Match the layers’ size and placement, then color the lower layer and inspect the result. Hide each layer in turn to see its contribution before exporting the composition.

03

Keep the case mapping out of the event’s information text

Use the pin lettering for the title, with dates and booking details in a plain face. The differing typed case is a construction step for this font, not a reason to change the event’s official spelling elsewhere. Fredoka and Anton are independent previews here. The homepage’s portable text designs substitute Unicode characters; they do not preserve Bowling’s registered layers, pin graphics or chosen colors.

The Camp guide examines a different layered-font construction with separate fill, shadow, ends and outline resources.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Your questions, answered.

Why are uppercase and lowercase versions different?

The creator uses the two keyboard positions for different pin-and-letter treatments, which can also support a two-color composition.

Will copying the words preserve the two-color title?

No. Ordinary text copying does not preserve both layers, their font selection, registration and colors.
