Choose the actual named family before applying a style label
The URW Bohemian family page credits Philip Kraft and URW++ FontForum. The foundry describes his dissatisfaction with Futura–Bodoni mixtures and inspiration from a Japanese fashion magazine. His aim was a new design rather than a splice of existing fonts. Its account links the name to a Shibuya fashion style; that does not establish a universal bohemian alphabet.
Use the documented companion relationship deliberately
URW states that Bohemian and Parametra share proportions and dimensions so they can be mixed. Treat this as a relationship between those specifically identified designs, not proof that arbitrary geometric and high-contrast fonts have matching widths. If evaluating the originals, compare the same words across their actual specimens and record which family supplies each role. The Futura guide and Bodoni MT guide concern different families, not interchangeable files or alternative names for Bohemian.
Compare contrast while preserving an original layout
Build a short studio bulletin with a title, one sentence and a small exhibition number. First hold type size, margins and line length steady while comparing the title’s letter proportions; then adjust the layout for the selected face rather than mechanically stretching one font to imitate another. Jost and Prata below offer independent geometric-sans and high-contrast-serif comparisons. They are not Bohemian or its documented Parametra companion. The homepage Unicode styling choices replace characters; they do not splice font designs or provide the original URW family.
Your questions, answered.

Does the foundry describe it as existing Futura and Bodoni fonts combined?
No. The foundry describes a new design and separately identifies a proportional relationship with Parametra.
