Start with the designer’s own project
Iván Núñez’s Barbaro project was published September 12, 2015 and explicitly offers the font for personal and commercial use. That is an original creator statement; keep it with the chosen package and any included notices. The portfolio date records the project’s publication and should not be silently turned into an unsupported story about an earlier historical typeface or a particular brand’s lettering.
Build a label around the complete product name
For an original small-batch label, set the longest product name, a short description and a quantity before adding a border. Compare a wide one-line name with a deliberately stacked setting. Preserve the original letter proportions rather than stretching one word to match another. Inspect the spaces at the beginning and end of the name as well as the pairs in its middle; a visually balanced frame depends on the whole word, not only a fixed margin measurement.
Compare the display name with the practical details
Make one monochrome proof at the real label dimensions and another enlarged for editing. Keep the smallest description and batch number clear when reviewing the real-size version. If the decorative direction overwhelms the details, reduce its frequency or use a quieter companion rather than forcing every line into the same role. Rye and Arvo are independent display and serif comparisons, not Barbaro files. The homepage decorative name-text generator provides Unicode substitutions; it does not install the creator’s font or reproduce its outlines and spacing in another application. Keep an editable text master beside the exported artwork.
Your questions, answered.
Where is the creator’s free-use statement?
The linked original Barbaro project explicitly states personal and commercial use. Retain that resource and the notices accompanying the actual font package.
Does finding Barbaro reproduce an existing brand’s logo?
A font resource identifies a starting alphabet. A finished logo can have its own spacing, arrangement or modifications, which need separate evidence.
