Axiforma: background and attribution
Galin Kastelov designed Axiforma as a geometric sans-serif family. Monotype’s acquisition announcement includes it in the Kastelov collection now distributed through Monotype services. The designer credit remains useful even when the current publisher name differs from older package references.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
The current family lists 20 styles, including upright and italic resources. Features described by the publisher include oldstyle figures, fractions, localized forms and stylistic sets. Check the exact file and language forms needed instead of assuming every geometric sans offers identical coverage.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Compare a brand heading, a small interface label and a table of values. Choose the appropriate numeral mode and inspect accented text early. Keep line lengths consistent when comparing an independent alternative so differences in spacing remain visible.
For independent comparisons, try Manrope and Montserrat. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.
Official preview and font resources
Use Monotype to try the original and investigate the files, styles and terms for your intended workflow. This site does not distribute or serve Axiforma font software.
The editable alternatives here have their own source profiles and included licenses. For the difference between a font file and copied characters, read Unicode text versus fonts.
