Anurati: background and attribution
Emmeran Richard introduced Anurati in a February 2016 portfolio project. His own current project page identifies the original free release as personal-use only and directs commercial projects to Anurati Pro. The later Pro project describes a revised character set rather than simply a change in permission for identical files.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
Anurati is presented as futuristic display lettering. The creator's 2018 Pro project describes an all-capital design in Regular and Outline, with new letters, glyphs and numerals. Treat those as edition-specific features; do not assume the original free download contains the same resources.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Try a short game title or science-fiction heading and read it at thumbnail size. Decorative or interrupted strokes need enough scale and contrast to remain recognizable. Keep navigation, instructions and longer descriptions in a more conventional companion face.
