Akrobat: background and attribution
Plamen Motev designed Akrobat for Fontfabric, which dates the family to July 2016. It is a geometric sans serif built around narrow proportions. The publisher offers eight weights from Thin to Black and describes the family as free for personal and commercial use; use the agreement accompanying its own download for the applicable terms.
Read the publisher’s family page for the source account and the edition currently offered. Keep a family name distinct from its particular release, width or optical branch.
Forms, styles and what to inspect
The condensed structure creates an upright rhythm without requiring artificial horizontal compression. The documented character set includes extended Latin and Cyrillic, with localized forms and alternates. A weight change affects density; it is not a different width.
Use the original publisher specimen to inspect those features. An alternative can share a broad role without having the same letter shapes, metrics or character coverage.
Try it in a real layout
Set a narrow poster heading, a date and a short supporting line. Compare Regular with Bold before choosing Black: very heavy strokes may close small spaces at thumbnail size. Use a wider text face for supporting paragraphs if the narrow rhythm becomes tiring.
For independent comparisons, try Roboto Condensed and Antonio. Use the same wording and approximate output size. The related style guide provides broader design context.

Your questions, answered.
Who designed Akrobat?
Fontfabric credits Plamen Motev and dates the family to July 2016.
Is Akrobat a single bold font?
No. The publisher lists eight weights from Thin through Black. Compare their actual shapes rather than stretching one weight.
Where is the free Akrobat download?
Fontfabric offers the family through its linked download page and supplies a license agreement with the files. This page links to that source and does not host the files.
