01

Read the actual game and text-role credit

The Fontworks case for あつまれ どうぶつの森 identifies Nintendo Switch, ©2020 Nintendo and the families ロダンわんぱく (Rodin Wanpaku) and スーラ (Seurat). It describes their use for in-game text and related material. That is a concrete Japanese case credit. It does not, by itself, identify every localized Latin-script face, every UI label or the Animal Crossing title-logo lettering.

02

Separate kana character from rounded Gothic construction

The linked Rodin Wanpaku specimen describes an energetic kana design and credits Yutaka Sato / TYPE-LABO. The Seurat N-specification specimen describes rounded Gothic construction with generous internal space and large character faces. Compare the original resources with one Japanese text sample rather than treating the two credited names as interchangeable. Record the edition you inspect; a case credit does not identify the exact file or weight of every text instance.

03

Make a language-and-role reference sheet before matching a screenshot

For each screenshot, record game title, platform, interface language and whether the sample is dialogue, a menu label or logo artwork. Place the documented Japanese case credit beside relevant Japanese text, leaving uncertain roles explicitly unassigned. Do not label a rounded Latin comparison as verified ACNH software merely because its mood feels similar. The homepage’s copyable Unicode styles change characters; they do not provide the game’s font resources or turn a Latin substitution alphabet into these Japanese glyphs. Follow the original publisher specimens for resources and applicable terms.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Your questions, answered.

Does the Japanese case identify the English ACNH logo font?

No. It credits named families for in-game text in the Japanese-titled case. That evidence alone does not identify the English logo or every localized text face.

Are Rodin and Rodin Wanpaku automatically the same resource?

No. Keep the credited name and specific specimen together. A shared family-name element is not proof of identical construction, files or character mapping.

Does this identify fonts across every Animal Crossing edition?

The linked case concerns the Nintendo Switch New Horizons title and its Japanese text. It does not establish a universal font for every game, language version or title logo.
