Glitch & Zalgo Text Generator
Type, compare and copy—with the limits explained.
This tool adds a bounded number of combining marks to Latin letters and digits. Choose light, medium or dense output; spaces and other unsupported characters are left alone.

Letters outside a style’s supported alphabet stay unchanged. Always test the result in the app where you’ll use it.
How this tool changes your text
This tool adds a bounded number of combining marks to Latin letters and digits. Choose light, medium or dense output; spaces and other unsupported characters are left alone.
Enter up to 200 input characters, compare the results and use Copy on the option you want. The preview-size control changes the display here; it does not add a size instruction to the clipboard.
Character background and meaning
Combining marks are encoded characters intended to combine with a base. Stacking them here creates a decorative visual disturbance, not a new historical font family. Zalgo and glitch queries are combined because this tool answers the same stacking task.
For the broader distinction between encoded characters and real typeface files, read Unicode text versus fonts.
A practical way to choose
Start with the light option and a short phrase. Paste it into the destination before keeping a more crowded version. Use underlined text if you want a controlled line effect instead of scattered marks.
Your input is transformed in this browser. The tool does not send the typed phrase to an account, publish a post or change another application’s settings.
Compatibility and related tools
This is not the downloadable typeface named Doctor Glitch. Tall mark stacks can be clipped or displayed differently by another app.
Keep a plain-text version when a message needs to remain easy to read or reuse. Copyable decorative characters are not a replacement for a font-aware document or a carefully designed image.
Cursed text, Zalgo and controlled mark density
For this generator, cursed text means the same decorative mark-stacking task as glitch or Zalgo text. Light adds one mark to each supported letter or digit, medium adds three and dense adds six. Those are three treatments of the same input, not three downloadable font families. Compare a short original phrase before using a crowded result in a longer message.
The Unicode combining-mark chart records the encoded marks; this tool assembles a selected set for a decorative effect. Added marks make the copied string longer even when the number of base letters stays the same. A destination field can impose its own limits or clip tall marks. Keep essential names, instructions and contact details in ordinary text, and retain the unmodified phrase alongside any decorative version.
Your questions, answered.
Is this tool free?
Yes. Type a sample, compare the displayed results and copy the option you want.
Why can the pasted result look different?
The destination chooses its rendering fonts and can handle character sequences differently. Preview the result in the intended field before relying on its appearance.
Does copying install a font?
No. This tool produces characters. Installing and using an actual typeface is a separate workflow.
